One horse, one student, forty-five minutes. Tuesday to Friday from 3:45pm and weekend mornings from 8:30am. Semi-private lessons for two are also available during school hours.

Ages 7–13 · runs each term
Term-based lessons offer a consistent schedule, with a dedicated horse and coach. Each term follows a structured programme with clear goals and milestones.

Three-day programmes in the school holidays, at our arena in Dairy Flat. Riders aged 4 and up, all levels, including complete beginners. Three hours a day, groups of two to four. The dates for each holiday are published on this page.

Ages 4–6 · one two-hour taster
A first, gentle introduction to ponies — meeting them, grooming them and a short ride. Arranged on request: get in touch and we will find a time.

Private lessons here are genuinely one-on-one — for the whole lesson the horse belongs to one rider. Family-run since 2019, founded by Jolene Zhou.

From age four for private lessons. The after-school and holiday programmes are for ages seven to thirteen. Adults are welcome for private lessons too.
No. We have adjustable helmets you can borrow. Bring closed-toe shoes and long fitted trousers, plus a warm layer — most of what we do is outdoors.
Yes — 75kg, for the horse’s safety as well as the rider’s.
We check the forecast the day before and again on the morning of the lesson. If we decide it isn’t safe to ride, you’ll get an email as early as we can send it, and the lesson goes back into your balance.
Tell us as early as you can — ideally before 8:00am on the day (Monday to Thursday), or by 8:00pm the night before for Saturday lessons. We will do our best to arrange a make-up; what we can offer depends on the classes and horses free at the time, and it may not be with the usual coach. The make-up rules are set out in full in our terms and conditions.
Yes. Private lessons are open to adults, and run during school hours as well as after school.
