I moved to New Zealand shortly after graduating in the UK with a First Class in BSc (Hons) Equine Performance and Rehabilitation. I learnt to ride in a riding centre in England before I went to university, which then enabled me to go on and ride two horses of my own. I have worked in riding schools for over 11 years, and love helping people achieve their equestrian dreams.

I’ve been riding since I was 3, and I’ve always been passionate about working with horses. I compete in showjumping with my own pony, Yahtzee, and I’m going to university next year to become an equine vet. I love watching all of our students learn and grow as riders.

I was born/raised in New Zealand, and always had an interest in animals, so when my mother started Southstar Equestrian in 2019, I was very eager to begin my equestrian journey. Now as I have ridden for a couple years, I help around the equestrian and every so often teach some basic horse care to the newcomers. I hope that when I get older, I will have the chance to become a coach in dressage.
